It's Business 101 on 10 cups of coffee
Our interns go at a highly energized pace. From day one as a paid intern with Enterprise, you'll learn our business from the ground up and understand how you play a significant role in seeing it succeed. You'll acquire highly marketable skills and experience pertaining to every aspect of our rental operations. And it's learning by doing, not by getting coffee or filing all day. Our college interns take on the same challenges as our first and second year full-time professionals. It's a team-based environment where the Enterprise employees are supportive and fun to work with.
In addition to on-the-job training and experience, you will receive some classroom training in our Rental Operations in the following areas:
- Sales
- Customer Service
- Marketing
- Finance
- Conflict Management
- Leadership
THIS POSITION HAS MONTHLY SALES GOALS. As you reach your sales goals, you will be tested and evaluated to determine your proficiency in these areas. Successful completion of these tests and evaluations will result in rewards, and the opportunity for continued employment as a fulltime professional upon graduation.

When you join our Management Internship Program, you'll acquire highly marketable skills and experience pertaining to every aspect of running a successful business.
As a Sales Intern, you are empowered to:
- Deliver superior customer service
- Make business decisions that greatly affect your career as well as the bottom line
- Develop new business and maintain current relationships
- Understand cost control and read your branch's P&L statement
- Understand what it takes to run a profitable business
You'll soon discover that every day is different because it is filled with so many new, exciting, rewarding and often unexpected challenges. There is one consistent aspect, however - everyday, you'll learn more about sales/marketing, customer service, business management, and administrative skills than you ever thought possible.
At Enterprise, you won't be a glorified gopher getting coffee or filing all day. Our interns go at the same energized pace and take on the same challenges and responsibilities as our Sales Management Trainees.
Not only is it a paid internship program, but interns may also be eligible for performance incentives and employee referral rewards. The business training you'll receive will be an amazing jumpstart to your career.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18-years of age
- Must be enrolled in a 4-year college/university with expected graduation date by May 2013
- Must have a minimum of 3 months experience in sales (direct or non-traditional) within the past 4 years
- Must have a minimum of 6 months experience in customer service within the past 4 years
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 1 moving violation and/or at fault accidents within 3 years of date of hire (Spring 2012) and no drug or alcohol related conviction (DUI, DWI) on record within 5 years of date of hire
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
