Sprint king Usain Bolt declared himself a ?living legend? after becoming the first man to successfully defend both the 100m and 200m Olympic titles last night. Bolt?s victory contributed to a Jamaican clean-sweep in the 200m, with his training partner and 100m silver-medallist Yohan Blake finishing second and youngster Warren Weir taking bronze. Before yesterday?s final, Bolt had declared he was aiming to beat his own world record of 19.19 seconds, but fell just short as he crossed the line with a time of 19.32 seconds. ?I was fast but I wasn?t fit enough,? he admitted. ?I came off the corner, I could feel the strain on my back a little bit, so I was trying to keep my form,? he said. ?But I stopped running because I knew it wasn?t going to be a world record.
